About our Nursery

Busy Bees Chineham in Basingstoke, rated Good by Ofsted, is a purpose-built, single-storey nursery with a capacity of 98 children. It is conveniently located with easy access to the M3 and M4 motorways and close to Basingstoke train station. We are just a five-minute walk or a two-minute drive from Chineham Business Park. The nursery offers ample parking for staff and visitors, with a bus service linking the town to Chineham village for families. What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner
  1. Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  2. Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  3. Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
What We’re Looking For
  1. Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  2. Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
  3. Skills: Good communication, excellent organisational abilities, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
