Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner at Level 2 or 3 to deliver high-quality early years care in a nurturing setting. The role emphasizes EYFS-aligned activities, safeguarding, and developing children's independence.

The successful candidate will plan and implement play-based learning, observe progress, and collaborate with parents and the team to support every child’s development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Ability to plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Passion for child-led learning and encouraging independence.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to high-quality Early Years care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Plan and support engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Encourage confidence, independence and development.
• Utilise indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
• Support children's sensory development.
• Assist transition to school.
• Observe, assess and record progress.
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and nursery standards.
