Job summary

Busy Bees La Providence in Jersey is seeking an Early Years Educator/Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging activities and support children’s development in a safe, inclusive learning environment.

As part of Busy Bees, you’ll work with the Key Person approach, build partnerships with families, and contribute to ourBee Curious curriculum while benefiting from excellent training and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as anEarly Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
