Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children in our UK nursery setting. You will contribute to a caring, developmental environment and be part of the Busy Bees team.

You’ll plan engaging activities and work closely with families as a Key Person, with opportunities for growth and professional development within a supportive, community-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
  • Experience working with children under 5.
  • Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
  • Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.

About Our Nursery

Join our nurturing team at Busy Bees in Stotfold, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 64 children. Our smaller team creates a family-like atmosphere, enhanced by our converted house that adds to the homely feel. We collaborate with local authorities for further training opportunities, supporting your professional growth. Located in a small town, we have regular bus services into larger towns and are conveniently situated next to a CO-OP with electric car charging points. What We’re Looking For
  • Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
  • Experience working with children under 5.

You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
