Job summary

Grandir UK is seeking a proactive Nursery Practitioner for First Place Nursery Radlett, part of Grandir UK, to support high-quality care and education. You will contribute to outcomes for children and provide a positive experience for families, joining a welcoming team on site.

You will promote early years standards, work with playroom staff, and ensure EYFS compliance while building strong relationships with parents and colleagues in a warm, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
