Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is recruiting for a nursery practitioner to join our Somersham team. You will support children daily, supervise activities, and help create a welcoming environment in line with our policy and EYFS requirements.

The role involves working under Level 3 qualified practitioners, attending staff meetings, and upholding safeguarding standards while contributing to a positive, inclusive setting for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Practitioner qualification.
• Experience in a nursery setting is desirable.
• DBS check and safeguarding awareness expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure Grandir UK values are maintained.
• Ensure equality of access and opportunity to all staff, parents and children.
• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment.
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners.
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices.
• Ensure practice and provision meet Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
• Attend regular staff and planning meetings and undertake training as required.
