Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a position in Bishops Stortford. You will work across all rooms, supporting children at different stages of development and gaining varied experience before settling into a designated room.

The role focuses on EYFS learning, safeguarding, and teamwork. This long-term/permanent opportunity includes parking, and on-site meals, with pay at £16.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Previous nursery/early years experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Reliability, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working with children are important.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing in line with EYFS.
• Plan and support age-appropriate activities.
• Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality childcare.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times.
