Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner for our Kingsmead Day Nursery & Preschool in Winchester. You will play a vital role in nurturing and inspiring children's growth.

Qualifications

• Passionate about nurturing children and creating a safe, stimulating environment.
• Experience in a nursery or early childhood education setting is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery.
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties.
• Ensure practice meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Provide feedback to parents/carers about their child.

What will you be doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day‑to‑day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
