We are currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners to work across a variety of nurseries and early years settings throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observing, assessing and monitoring children's progress and development.
• Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Encouraging children's social, emotional and physical development.
• Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care where required.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Promoting children's independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider nursery team.
• Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times.
• Maintaining accurate records and observations in line with nursery procedures.

We're Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or early years setting.
• A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's early development and learning.
