Job summary

Recruit by Nature is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Must be Level 3) in Sunningdale (SL5). Join a nurturing early years nursery, supporting children's development through play-based learning in a warm, child-focused environment.

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £27,500 – £30,000 per annum plus benefits, with Monday to Friday shifts, paid annual leave, ongoing training and CPD, and clear opportunities for career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery room.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS.
  • Monitor and record children's development and progress.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and development.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Promote positive behaviour and development outcomes.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Shifts scheduled within nursery operating hours
  • No regular weekend work required
  • Breaks provided during working hours
  • Consistent schedule with some flexibility depending on nursery needs

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role within a welcoming nursery setting, supporting children’s early development through engaging, play-based learning in line with EYFS principles. Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and early years development
  • Ability to deliver high-quality childcare and learning experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working both independently and within a team
