Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Gravesend is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a permanent, full-time role. On-site in DA11, the position offers a salary of £13 to £15 per hour with an ASAP start and a long-term commitment to early years care.

You will support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS, plan engaging activities, maintain a safe environment, and collaborate with the nursery team to meet each child's needs across baby, toddler and preschool groups.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential).
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, caring and adaptable approach to supporting young children.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Gravesend, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. The setting provides early years care and education, supporting children through engaging, age-appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis, working with children across the baby, toddler and preschool age groups. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for supporting children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework, planning engaging activities, maintaining a safe environment and working closely with the nursery team to meet each child's individual needs.

Required qualifications and skills

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
