Randstad UK is seeking Nursery Practitioners (Qualified & Unqualified) to join our Eastbourne supply team. Work flexibly across nurseries in Eastbourne and surrounding areas, choosing shifts that fit your schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

We welcome both qualified professionals with CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3 and enthusiastic hands-on carers. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply is required; commuting to local settings is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children aged 0-5 years within safe, stimulating nursery environments.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, hygiene, and nappy changing.
• Support permanent room staff with engaging, play‑based learning activities aligned with the EYFS.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by strictly adhering to safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures.
• Bring energy, warmth, and a professional attitude to every nursery setting you support.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous hands‑on experience working or volunteering with children (e.g., nursery, nanny, childminder, or school settings).

Qualifications: Qualified candidates should hold a CACHE/NVQ Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent in Early Years. Unqualified candidates are welcome provided they possess a strong work ethic and passion for child development.

Compliance: An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

Logistics: Ability to commute to settings in and around Eastbourne.
