Randstad UK is seeking a Flexible Nursery Assistant / Early Years Supply Practitioner to work across Ashford and surrounding areas. You will support a variety of welcoming early years settings, assisting with daily routines and learning activities on a flexible schedule.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with temporary / day-to-day supply opportunities. Qualified candidates with CACHE / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare are encouraged, as well as those with a genuine love for working

Formación

• Qualified candidates hold CACHE / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Unqualified candidates with a genuine passion for working with young children and transferable childcare experience are welcome.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Supervise, interact, and engage with children aged 0-5 in a warm, stimulating environment.
• Assist permanent nursery staff with daily routines, including meal/snack times, outdoor play, and nap schedules.
• Set up creative learning activities and maintain a safe, clean, and tidy play area to encourage exploration.
• Adhere strictly to safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies at all times to ensure children's well-being.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development throughout the day.

Location: Ashford and surrounding areas

Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday, flexible shifts available)
