Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking flexible Early Years Supply Practitioners to support a variety of nurseries in Haslemere and surrounding areas. The role offers 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts, Monday to Friday, with flexible days to suit your life.

Qualified candidates with CACHE / NVQ Level 2 or 3 are preferred, but a genuine passion for working with young children and transferables are welcomed. DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply) is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates: CACHE / NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Unqualified candidates: genuine passion for working with young children, proactive attitude, and transferable childcare experience.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, interact and engage with children aged 0-5 in a warm, stimulating environment.
• Assist permanent nursery staff with daily routines, meals, outdoor play and naps.
• Set up learning activities and maintain a safe, clean play area to encourage exploration.
• Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development.

• Set up creative learning activities and maintain a safe, clean, and tidy play area to encourage exploration.
• Adhere strictly to safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies at all times to ensure children's well-being.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development throughout the day.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates: CACHE / NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent).

Unqualified candidates: A genuine passion for working with young children, a proactive attitude, and some transferable experience in childcare/early years settings.
