Job summary

Monkey Puzzle Horsham is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join their team. You will support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to while delivering high-quality care and education.

Starting salary is from £29,120 per annum, dependent on qualification(s) and experience, with progression across the Monkey Puzzle network of nurseries in the UK.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 5-9 or A-C in relevant subjects.
• Demonstrated understanding of safeguarding processes and child development.
• Experience in planning and delivering early years activities.
• Good communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a busy nursery environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, ensuring EYFS adherence.
• Create inspiring, learning environments aligned with children's needs.
• Ensure child safety and welfare with safeguarding knowledge.
• Implement EYFS with understanding of child development.
• Report concerns to senior team members or services.
• Collaborate with parents and partners to support children's development.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming attitude with children, parents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
• Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
• Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
• Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.

Essentials
