Job summary

Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, is seeking a full-time Early Years Practitioner. The role offers a starting salary of £29,000 depending on qualifications and experience. You will plan activities, foster parent partnerships and uphold safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).
• Previous experience working with children.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection requirements.

We are looking for a full time, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Nursery, situated Buckhurst Hill, Essex.

The nursery is on Palmerston Road with local access to shops and restaurants, along with being close to bus stops for the 549 and 304 buses. Offering alongside this is an onsite buggy park.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner, or similar)
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
