Job summary

Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and evaluate engaging activities tailored to each child, supporting development and milestones.

You will create a safe, inclusive learning environment where children can express themselves and develop a lifelong love of learning, underpinned by EYFS knowledge and safeguarding best practices.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/careers

Nursery – Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery and Preschool, c/o David Lloyd Club, Pipps Hill Road South, Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3DG Salary – Starting from £28,072.60 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience) Hours - Full time, 40 hours, Monday - Friday. Location – Basildon, Essex, SS14 3DG

Role Overview

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
