Job summary

Grandir UK's Pippa's House Day Nursery in Ash Vale is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to support and inspire children daily.

You'll help deliver high-quality care in line with EYFS, supervise playroom staff, and build positive relationships with parents and carers.

Qualifications

What will you be doing
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
