Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in the seeding house, working on plug production, potting young plants
• Moving trollies and stock around the nursery including laying out and spacing crops on the ground
• General housekeeping duties such as cleaning production and machines and general nursery maintenance
• Watering crops and general plant husbandry
• Spacing and laying out plants
• Completing sowing and production records as required
• Preparing product for orders and picking customer orders
• Packing and loading of plants prior to dispatch
• Working on sales lines to produce orders to customer specification
• Checking labels, completing order dispatch paperwork
• Working in dispatch and goods in
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested

Commercial wholesale nursery, growing bedding and pot plants for major high street multiples and supermarkets, pumpkin crop.

This is a varied role and you will assist with aspects of nursery production, plant care and husbandry, packing orders and nursery maintenance as required to meet Company objectives.
