Job summary

Forest Barn Nursery is seeking a passionate Office Manager to support the running of the nursery with front of house and office duties. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager, developing IT and organizational processes, while engaging with families and managing enquiries.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, strong communication, and collaborative teamwork in a local Brentwood setting. The position is full-time with salary up to £13.90 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT systems.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Experience of working in a similar administrative role, preferably in an early years or school setting.
• Understandings the importance of safeguarding.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the Nursery Manager to assist the successful running of the nursery.
• Working as part of a passionate team to further develop existing organization and IT skills.
• Interacting with parents on a daily basis including delivering a superb experience for both current and prospective families.
• Supporting the enquiry management process including nursery tours.
• Responsible for the domestic staff team and ensuring compliance around COSHH and Environmental Health Inspections.
• Managing staff ratios effectively.

Paid UBER rides from train station to the nursery's location

Hours: Full Time 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm - MAT Cover
Salary: Up to £13.90 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
