Job summary

Wootton Park Nursery, part of Wootton Park School, is recruiting a Nursery Nurse (Level 2) for a brand-new setting opening January 2027. You will help create a nurturing, stimulating environment for children aged 2–4, focusing on learning, development and wellbeing.

The role is full-time (37 hours/week, Monday to Friday) on a rota that covers 8.00am–6.00pm, 51 weeks per year. The successful candidate will join an experienced team, with safeguarding practices and strong leadership in place.

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Level 2 Early Years qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing across the EYFS.
• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for 2–4 year olds.
• Work as part of a team to implement a stimulating and inclusive environment.
