Job summary

Strategy Education is recruiting Nursery Nurses/Assistants for nursery settings across Essex, offering full or part-time flexible hours between 7am and 6pm. The role emphasizes delivering stimulating, age-appropriate experiences while adhering to EYFS requirements and maintaining hygiene standards.

Candidates with Level 2/3 childcare qualifications and EYFS knowledge are desirable; over 1 year in Early Years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 childcare qualification (Desirable)
• Over 1 year's experience in Early Years or newly qualified (Desirable)
• Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide stimulating experiences, environments and resources for children appropriate to age and development.
• Understand and ensure compliance with the EYFS statutory framework.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and promote hygiene daily.
• Undertake duties to ensure smooth nursery operations and safety of children, staff and families.
• Maintain professional relationships and report concerns per policy.
• Support a strong key person approach for secure attachments and cover for absences.
• Attend regular team meetings and stay updated on priorities and policies.

Nursery Nurses/Assistants

Strategy Education are recruiting staff for nursery settings across Essex. We can offer full or part time flexible working between 7am and 6.00pm.

Duties include:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
• Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
• Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
• Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 childcare qualification - Desirable
• Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years or newly qualified - desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements

Weekly or monthly pay and hourly rate £14.24 per an hour for level 3 qualified. Drivers preferred but links to public transport available.
