Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a Nursery Nurse for Closeburn Primary Nursery. The role is full-time (36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year) with a salary of £29,081.46 to £31,012.09.

You will support children aged 2-5, promoting independence through indoor and outdoor activities. The post requires SCQF level 7 in Social Services, Children & Young People and registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in Day Care of Children’s Services, within 3 months of appointment.

Formación

• Must be qualified to register with SSSC as Practitioner in Day Care of Children's Services within 3 months.
• PVG Scheme membership or update required prior to offer of employment.
• Ability to work in a collegiate way with school staff and external agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in curriculum development within the nursery following school policies.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and carers to meet pupils' educational and social needs.
• Contribute to assessment and recording in line with the nursery’s policies.
• Work flexibly to meet service needs, within the 8:00–18:00 operating window.
