Job Title: Level 3 SEND Early Years Practitioner

Location: Nottinghamshire

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: GBP13.69 - GBP14 per hour

Role Overview

Can you support young children in learning through continuous play and lead small group activities covering all seven areas of learning?

Are you skilled in teaching children using various strategies, including effective questioning techniques and dialogue to enhance understanding and extend learning?

About the Nursery

TeacherActive is working with a thriving and aspirational day nursery in Nottinghamshire that employs a curriculum based on continuous play and resource access, allowing children to make choices. They are seeking a full-time, permanent Early Years Practitioner who is kind, caring, and experienced with preschool children.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure children are safe, happy, and stimulated.
• Observe children and document any problematic behaviors.

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years (required).
• Previous experience working with Early Years and SEND.
• Enthusiastic about making a positive difference.
• Driving License (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to different age groups (baby room/preschool).
• Available to work 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
