My client in North London is currently recruiting for Nursery Nurses with Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualifications to join them on a permanent basis. They have roles in both the baby room and preschool rooms.

The nursery has a capacity for over 40 children and is part of a group operating within the area, offering great opportunities for career progression.

If you are a Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse with Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification and are passionate about building a career in Early Years Childcare, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Nursery Nurse Duties include but are not limited to:

• Completing observations and learning journals
• Individual planning
• Putting babies to bed
• Preparing food and drinks
• Conducting 2-year checks
• Cleaning the baby room and sleeping areas
• Playing with babies
• Helping babies learn to walk and talk
• Building relationships with children and parents

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare education
• Good interpersonal skills, organized and efficient
• Ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
• Acting as Key-worker and observing children
• Knowledge of the Children’s Act
• Experience working with babies
• Good communication skills with children and parents
• Ability to interact well with children and use initiative
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week
