Established in 1998, Toad Hall Nursery in Berkhamsted offers a 77-place facility, conveniently located near the town centre with shops, cafes, and restaurants. It is close to transport links, including a local bus stop and a train station within 15 minutes’ walk. There is a car park for staff and families. The nursery is adjacent to a leisure centre, ideal for a swim or gym session before or after work. In 2018, we received a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.

We are recruiting for full-time, part-time, and zero-hour contract positions, including hours such as 12pm - 6pm and lunch cover.

Nursery Nurse Level 3 - Up to £27,622.40 per annum

Key responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality care for children aged 0-5 in collaboration with the team
• Ensuring smooth daily operations by following policies and procedures
• Creating engaging activities and using your knowledge and imagination
• Building strong relationships with children and communicating effectively with parents
• Making every day fun and educational!

Qualifications and experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
• Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to plan activities accordingly
• Understanding of planning, observation, and record-keeping for nursery children
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
