Job description

Seed Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner for a lovely nursery. If you are Level 3 qualified or interested in pursuing a career in childcare, this nursery offers excellent opportunities for progression, training, and support.

Key Duties include:
  1. Contributing to a programme of activities suitable for the children's age range, in collaboration with other staff.
  2. Supporting all staff and engaging effectively within a team.
  3. Liaising with and supporting parents and family members.
  4. Attending out-of-hours activities such as training, staff meetings, parent evenings, and nursery events.
  5. Being flexible within the nursery's working practices.
  6. Assisting with domestic tasks within the nursery, such as snack preparation and equipment cleaning.
  7. Working with the manager and team to uphold the nursery's philosophy.
  8. Recording accidents accurately in the accident book.
  9. Preparing and completing developmentally appropriate activities for children.
  10. Ensuring mealtimes are pleasant social occasions.
  11. Washing and changing children as needed.
  12. Providing comfort and warmth to children who are unwell.
  13. Maintaining a high-quality environment tailored to children from diverse backgrounds and stages of development.
  14. Upholding the high standards and reputation of the nursery at all times.
Working Hours:

40 hours (excluding breaks) or 45 hours (including breaks).
