Job summary

Love Childcare Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for a busy Childwall setting in Liverpool. You will lead a team of 14 and oversee about 50 children daily, ensuring high standards within EYFS guidelines and a strong safeguarding culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience in a childcare setting.
• Safeguarding leadership and compliance with EYFS & safeguarding standards.
• Team management including recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management.
• Quality assurance, curriculum oversight, and monitoring of teaching and planning.
• Administration and financial oversight, budgeting and occupancy reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take overall day-to-day management responsibility for the setting.
• Lead safeguarding practice and ensure reporting of concerns.
• Line-manage a team of 14 staff with appropriate supervision.
• Monitor teaching, planning and assessment to maintain high standards.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, occupancy, and funding reporting.
