Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions is hiring a Nursery Manager in Crawley for a setting near Three Bridges. You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee staff, occupancy and budgets, and ensure high-quality care and learning.

Applicants should have Level 3 childcare, at least four years in Early Years with two in management, and experience with Ofsted. The role offers a supportive team, strong transport links, and salary up to £46k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliancewith statutory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Oversee occupancy and budgets to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure high-quality care and learning in line with EYFS.
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections and support their outcomes.
