Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead a thriving Bristol nursery. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of care and learning in line with the EYFS framework, and support staff to deliver outstanding childcare.

The role requires Level 3 Early Years qualification (mandatory) with Level 5 Leadership desirable and a track record in senior leadership within early years. Immediate start available and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification is mandatory.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management for Children and Young People's Services is desirable.
• Previous experience as Nursery Manager or senior leader in an early years setting is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
• Ensure high standards of care and learning in line with EYFS.
• Manage, support and motivate staff to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Maintain Ofsted compliance and safeguarding procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and external agencies.
• Monitor occupancy, staffing, and nursery performance.
