Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education in the North West seeks a Nursery Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and deliver high-quality care for children aged 0-5. You will lead a team, implement EYFS standards, safeguard procedures, and drive a warm, community-focused setting.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) at Holyrood Castleton, with a salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum plus a range of staff benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (DfE recognised).
• At least two years’ supervisory or management experience in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursery operations to ensure high-quality care.
• Lead and develop the nursery staff team and ensure a positive working environment.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS requirements and safeguarding policies.
• Support children's learning and development across the setting.

Essential Criteria:

You must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (as recognised by the DfE), with at least two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within an early years setting. You should have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and be confident in leading a team to deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
