Job summary

Partou Shepherds Lane Day Nursery & Pre-school in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead the setting for 40 hours per week on a full-time basis. You will ensure the smooth running of the nursery, deliver stimulating activities aligned with EYFS, and build strong partnerships with families and colleagues.

You will lead a team, maintain a safe, inclusive environment, and drive continuous professional development in line with safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Maths GCSE is required.
• Strong EYFS knowledge is essential for guiding practice.
• Proven experience leading a team in an early years setting.
• Passion for early years education and safeguarding commitment.
• Ability to support children's learning and development and build partnerships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
• Support and develop staff through coaching and professional development.
• Build strong partnerships with families and external childcare colleagues.

About the Role
