Nursery Manager Position - Guildford, Surrey

Staff Match is recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery group for an exciting Nursery Manager role based in Guildford, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of management experience and a genuine passion for early years education.

Person Specification:

• Experience in leading and motivating teams
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
• Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day nursery operations
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures
• Build positive relationships with parents through partnership working, events, and drop-in sessions
• Manage marketing and occupancy levels
• Handle invoicing, fee calculation, back-office tasks, material ordering, HR, and finance
• Embed the EYFS curriculum effectively into practice
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections
