Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Nursery Manager for a Woodford, IG8 location. The role involves overseeing daily nursery operations on a full-time basis during term time, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with a contract started ASAP 2026.

The position lasts two terms until the end of the academic year, July 27, with a contract end date in July 2027. Salary is paid at minimum £15–£16 per hour depending on experience, with safeguarding duties and DBS checks required.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
