Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Nursery Manager in Essex to lead a busy nursery with 15 acres of glasshouse production. You'll work with directors and department managers to drive performance and customer service.

This role requires technical growing knowledge, management experience and a practical, hands-on leadership style. Accommodation is included.

What's the Job?

You'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the nursery, working closely with department managers across growing, propagation, production, sales and logistics.

Day to day, you'll be:

• Leading and supporting the nursery management team
• Working with Directors to deliver business objectives
• Coordinating departments to ensure smooth nursery operations

While this is a management role, you'll still need to understand growing and be comfortable discussing crop issues, biological controls and production challenges with the team.
