Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Nursery Manager for our Cheadle Hulme nursery to lead a dedicated team and ensure outstanding early years provision. You will maintain EYFS standards, safeguarding, and occupancy targets while fostering a supportive culture for staff and families.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £40,000 with a 25% bonus, 40 hours over 4 days, and access to ongoing training and progression opportunities within a national early years provider.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager in a high-quality setting.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and develop teams.
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
• Track record of improving outcomes and maintaining high standards.
• Confident working independently within a leadership structure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years provision.
• Ensure full EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and outcomes for children.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, and development.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Work with regional leadership to meet quality and occupancy targets.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

• NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, or NVQ Level 3.
• Experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• A focus on delivering high-quality childcare and early education.
