Job summary

VD Recruitment, partnering with a leading nursery group in London, is seeking an experienced full-time Nursery Manager for a Bromley setting (BR1). You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated staff team, and ensure high standards of care and development in line with the EYFS.

A Level 3 childcare qualification and strong knowledge of EYFS are required. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with rotating early and late shifts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in nursery management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS.

Responsibilities

VD Recruitment has partnered with a growing and wonderful Award winning Nursery Group in London.

We are seeking an experienced full time Nursery Manager for one of their setting in Bromley BR1 area to join their dynamic team at the Ofsted Rated 'Good' nursery. The successful Manager will have strong knowledge of EYFS, an understanding of children's development and hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.

You will be joining a lovely nursery with on a full time permanent basis with occupancy of 96 children

Salary: GBP56,000 - GBP58,000+ benefits

Location - Bromley, BR1 area

Hours - 40 /week (Rotating early & late shifts between 7.30am to 6.30pm)

Duties For The Nursery Manager

• Overseeing the smooth running of the nursery
• Leading the staff team to deliver high quality practice within the nursery
• Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for children placed in the Nursery
• Your role as Nursery Manager will include; Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Responsible for any tasks delegated by the Directors.
• To give support to other personnel within the Nursery.
• To adhere promote & comply with legislation & compliance regulations

Person Specification for the ideal Nursery Manager-

• Childcare qualified to Level 3 or above from a recognised awarding body
• Sound experience of minimum 2 years as a Nursery Manager
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS
