Job summary

Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school in Speke, Liverpool, is seeking a lunchtime cover assistant on a part-time basis. The role offers 15 hours per week, supporting nursery children during lunch breaks and maintaining a safe, caring environment aligned with EYFS.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification, strong EYFS knowledge, and a passion for early years education. You will work closely with colleagues and families to ensure high-quality daily childcare.

Nursery Lunchtime Cover Assistant – Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school

Salary £12.76 per hour

About The Role

Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking an unqualified, Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week role of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
