Job summary

Partou Bluebells Day Nursery & Pre-school in Preston is seeking a Lunchtime Cover Assistant to work 15 hours per week. You will support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS, providing care during lunch breaks and helping maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

This is an unqualified nursery practitioner role with a flexible, part-time schedule. We welcome applicants who are passionate about early years education and safeguarding.

Nursery Lunchtime Cover Assistant – Partou Bluebells Day Nursery & Pre-school

Salary £12.76 per hour

About The Role

Partou Bluebells Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking an unqualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week role of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
