Job summary

N Family Club is seeking an Assistant Deputy Manager in Twickenham, London, to support the nursery management and lead Educators in delivering outstanding education and customer service. You’ll help manage nursery operations in the Deputy Manager’s absence and drive continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification, safeguarding training, and experience in nursery leadership. Competitive salary and extensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a nursery leadership position (ideally as a Room Manager, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager).
• Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and inspection processes (desirable).
• Budget management, staffing and performance reporting experience (desirable).
• Background in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at Work, and ongoing safeguarding training.
• Strong communication with parents, external professionals, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming environment where the team can thrive.
• Partner with the Deputy Manager to deliver outstanding education per the N Pedagogy.
• Champion safeguarding and wellbeing, acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when needed.
• Keep self-evaluation up to date and ensure actions are followed through.
• Oversee daily risk and health and safety checks for smooth operation.
• Coach and motivate the team through feedback and professional development.
• Assist with staffing and operations, including interviews and rotas.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain high educational standards.
• Bring positivity, flexibility and passion to support N Family Club's goals.
