Job summary

Pippa’s House Nursery in Aldershot is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support the chef in preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. This role is 25 hours per week, with salary £10.85–£12.71 per hour depending on experience.

You'll help with all catering activities, purchase supplies, ensure health and safety compliance, and assist in nursery rooms as needed. Grandir UK offers great benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure food production, service and presentation meet required standards.
• Carry out catering activities within allocated budget.
• Respond to feedback regarding catering operations.
• Purchase supplies through approved suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Cover duties during Cook's absence.
• Assist in nursery rooms as directed by Nursery Manager or Cook.
