Job summary

Bright Horizons Tingley in Stourton, Leeds, is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe nursery environment for children, families and staff. The role includes daily laundry, hygiene tasks and occasional support during meals and equipment cleaning.

The position requires prior cleaning experience, a Food Safety Level 2 or higher, COSHH awareness and strong communication with parents and colleagues. DBS clearance will be completed as part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
• Food Safety Level 2 or above (to be passed on day 1)
• COSHH and Health and Safety knowledge
• Strong communication with colleagues, children and parents

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, colleagues and families.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and changing areas.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Support other nursery tasks, including mealtimes and equipment cleaning.
