Job summary

Thrive Childcare Inverkip is seeking a part-time Nursery Housekeeper to keep the Happitots Nursery Inverkip clean, tidy and welcoming. The role covers indoor cleaning and outdoor area upkeep, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service to parents and staff.

The position offers a friendly team environment and opportunities for progression within Thrive Childcare and Education across the North West of England and Scotland.

Qualifications

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing and sanitising nursery areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor gardens and walkways.
• Provide excellent customer service to parents and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and be a team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery neat, clean and in an orderly condition.

Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week, 5am-8am or 5.30pm-8.30pm

About The Role:

As a Nursery Housekeeper, your primary role is to keep the nursery neat, clean, and in an orderly condition. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing, cleaning, and sanitising all areas of the nursery. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of the nursery’s outdoor areas, such as the gardens and walkways. In addition, you should be able to provide excellent customer service to parents and colleagues alike.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively. You should also be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
