Job summary

Premier Education is recruiting an experienced Nursery Teacher for a long-term teaching opportunity in the Droylsden area. The role runs from 4 January 2027 to the end of May 2027, in a Nursery/EYFS setting, with QTS essential and at least two years of Nursery/ EYFS/ KS1 experience.

You will plan and deliver engaging early years activities, support language and literacy development, work with teaching assistants, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Minimum of two years' teaching experience within Nursery, EYFS and/or KS1.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• SEND experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teaching within a Nursery / Early Years setting.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Encouraging learning through play, exploration and practical activities.
• Supporting early communication, language, literacy and numeracy development.
• Observing, assessing and monitoring children's progress.
• Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs, including SEND.
• Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other Early Years staff.
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers.
