Childbase Partnership is seeking a Domestic Assistant for Rowan Tree Day Nursery in Welwyn Garden City. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours/week, 52 weeks/year, with a 09:00-17:30 Monday-Friday pattern. Salary is £25,096.50 per annum (pro-rata) or £12.87 per hour.

You will maintain high hygiene standards, restock bathrooms and kitchens, and support the kitchen and laundry tasks while safeguarding and supporting colleagues and children.

Qualificações

• Experience as a professional housekeeper or cleaner in nurseries or care settings.

• Knowledge of COSHH and safety procedures.
• Restock supplies, empty bins, sweep and mop floors.

About you

• You are passionate about maintaining exceptional standards: You have experience of working as a professional Housekeeper or Cleaner, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• You are diligent: Your knowledge of COSHH and the use of your initiative will ensure you uphold a safe environment as you re-stock supplies in bathrooms and kitchens, empty bins, sweep and mop floors, engage in high-level dusting, support the kitchen team with washing-up and take care of the laundry.
• You are an advocate for safeguarding: You will ensure the well-being of every child and all adults within the nursery are met.
• You are collaborative: You thrive as part of a team and enjoy building supportive and respectful relationships with others.
