Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Deputy Room Leader to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Room Leader in delivering outstanding care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting in the planning and implementation of engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will be instrumental in creating a stimulating and inclusive atmosphere where each child can thrive. Collaboration with parents and the wider team will be fundamental to promote the children's development and foster strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Room Leader in managing the daily operations of the nursery room
• Support and deliver the EYFS curriculum through fun and educational activities
• Supervise staff and volunteers, offering guidance and support where needed
• Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and nurturing for all children
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
• Act as the Room Leader in their absence, ensuring continuity of care and education

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is essential

• Capability to lead and motivate a team effectively
