Job summary

Pure Care Recruitment is recruiting for a Nursery Deputy Manager in Romsey. You will support the Nursery Manager, lead staff, uphold safeguarding and EYFS standards, and drive high-quality care and education for children.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification or above and leadership experience. You will build relationships with families and professionals, contributing to staff development and nursery success.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Experience in an early years leadership position.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Confidence to make decisions and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead, mentor and develop the staff team.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection.
• Support staff training and professional development.
• Build positive relationships with parents and external professionals.
• Ensure EYFS requirements and nursery policies are followed.
• Support occupancy, budgets and the overall success of the setting.
