• Must have Level 3 childcare qualification and nursery leadership experience.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop nursery staff to high standards.
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day leadership and smooth operation of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the nursery team to deliver consistently high-quality early years practice.
• Monitor the quality of care and education and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor staff, providing regular feedback.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals.
• Maintain safe, stimulating learning environments indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed.
• Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence.
