Job summary

Partou Lavender Hill Day Nursery & Pre-school in Battersea, South London, is seeking a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to support the Nursery Manager and Senior Deputy in the smooth running of the setting. You will lead a team and ensure activities align with the EYFS, while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and building strong partnerships with families.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a salary of £32,032 and a strong focus on safeguarding and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience leading a team in an early years setting.
• Passion for early years education and child development.
• Confidence in supporting children’s learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager and Senior Nursery Deputy Manager in daily operations.
• Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years provision.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Build strong partnerships with families and childcare colleagues.
