Our beautiful nursery inside Valentines Park (IG1) is recruiting for a Deputy Manager!

Working as a Deputy Manager, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children, ensuring that you create a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to develop and learn, enabling the children to be safe, happy, and independent.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a Nursery management or leadership role.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong people skills with the ability to listen, support and guide colleagues.
• Hold a relevant childcare qualification at level 3 or above.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Lead and support staff in implementing early childhood education programs and activities.
• Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to promote a cohesive team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and nursery policies.
